Can You Spare Some Time for a Good Cause?
Friends of the Library is always looking for friendly, hard-working volunteers. Friends of the Library raises thousands of dollars each year to benefit our RSM Public Library. There are many ways to help:
The bookstore is staffed by a dedicated group of volunteers, and friendly, hard-working helpers are always needed. Volunteers staff the bookstore in two-hour shifts beginning at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday; beginning at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
We also need volunteers to help price incoming donations and to manage various bookstore sections. These times can be more flexible.
We also do a booming Internet book sale business on eBay, half.com and Amazon.com. If you are interested in assisting with listing and managing internet sales, we need helpers there, too.
And our children's team is always looking for helpers to volunteer with pricing.
