RSMFOL 2011 Board of Directors
& Committee Chairs
The Rancho Santa Margarita chapter of Friends of the Library is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and committee chairs who meet monthly to discuss Bookstore business, library needs, budget requests and other issues affecting the Rancho Santa Margarita Friends of the Library and the RSM Public Library it supports. Our members are:
John Peterson, right, is president of the Board of Directors for 2011. John volunteers in the Bookstore from 10 a.m. to noon on alternating Tuesdays.
Alice Dailey, left, is vice president of the Friends of the Library board. Alice volunteers in the Bookstore from noon to 2 p.m. Fridays.
Marian Russo, right, is secretary of the Friends of the Library Board of Directors. She records the minutes for the board’s monthly meetings. Marian volunteers in the bookstore from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursdays.
John Kosmenko, left, is chief financial officer of the Board of Directors. John tracks revenue and spending and the necessary paperwork to keep Friends of the Library in compliance with its non-profit status.
Denise Johnson, right, is Bookstore treasurer. Denise keeps tabs of the Bookstore’s tally sheets and daily proceeds and handles banking for RSM FOL. Denise volunteers in the Bookstore from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursdays.
Evita Block, left, is Bookstsore manager and also serves as volunteer manager for RSMFOL while a replacement is sought.. In addition to managing the bookstore, Evita coordinates scheduling and training of volunteers.
Janet Gahagan, right, is a member-at-large on the Board of Directors. Janet volunteers in the Bookstore from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
Annmarie Kyriazis, left, is a member-at-large on the Board of Directors. Annmarie volunteers in the Bookstore from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Pat Davis, right, handles Internet sales for FOL. She manages listing, sales and delivery of specialty books that FOL sells online. Pat volunteers in the Bookstore from 10 a.m. to noon on Fridays.
Gwyn Dunn, left, is membership coordinator for Friends of the Library. Gwyn also assists with Internet sales for Friends of the Library
MaryBeth Kosmenko, right, is FOL's library shopper, purchasing items for the RSM Public Library with funds donated by FOL. MaryBeth volunteers in the Bookstore from 2 to 4 p.m. Mondays.
Jeff Mapes, left, is a member-at-large and a founding member of the Friends of the Library Bookstore. Jeff volunteers in the Bookstore from 10 a.m. to noon on alternate Saturdays.
David O'Brien, right, is fundraising coordinator for the RSMFOL Board of Directors.
Debby Harris, left, is president emeritis of the Friends of the Library Board of Directors.
The position of publicity coordinator and webmaster is currently vacant.
